Tamorin Lavers

TAMORIN LAVERS – ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Education: Applecross High School Special Art Program with studies at James Street Technical College.

Biography: Inspired and taught by her Grandmother, Tamorin has continued to develop her style and techniques without further education. Using soft pastels on paper and Oil paints on canvas, childhood memories and whimsical Australian scenes have been prolifically produced and sold to Australian and Overseas clients. Recent directions have seen her works become larger and more contemporary, with applications of paint and texture to encompass different aerial views and the microcosms of life that form the patterns upon each surface.
