PAUL HOLE – ARTIST STATEMENT

Paul Hole – born in the U.K in 1960.

Paul, never a welder or boilermaker uses his welder as an electric glue gun to create pretty much anything that pops to mind.

Having worked with poultry, Paul has a natural fascination with chooks. The Penny Henny’s, Rockin Roosters, Bopping Bantams and Chick a de’s soon became his trade mark! However, new designs continue to emerge, emu’s, shags, kangaroos, stockmen, frogs, dogs, you name it, Paul continues to come up with new designs.

Paul will use any recyclable material that can be welded. He picks up a piece from his hoard of goodies and it pretty much tells him what it’s going to become.

Mower blades, gas bottles, cutlery, recycled steel of any shape or size. It’s all of use and is soon transformed into a work of art.
