Rod Browton

Rod was born in London in 1948 and shortly afterwards moved to Australia, becoming a citizen in 1980.

He has Diplomas from a number of Technical Colleges in Perth, Western Australia: Sign Writing (Leederville), Commercial Art (Fremantle), Art Studies (Perth) and a Cert. in Graphic Art (Fremantle).

His teaching experiences, Special Arts Courses and Artist in Residence cover Carine Tech, Perth Tech, Balga HS and Bruce Rock and from 1986 – 1999 he taught courses in Sculpture, Painting, Drawing, Cartooning and Art History at the University of WA Summer School.

Since 1994, he has exhibited his paintings and sculptures at the following Galleries:
